(a) The facility shall use a house parent staffing model.
(b) The facility shall not exceed its total licensed capacity.
(c) The facility shall have no more than eight (8) children in each unit, including the house parent’s children.
(d)
(1) There shall be a staff-to-child ratio of at least one to eight (1:8) at all times.
(2) Staff members’ children shall be counted in the ratio.
(e) Childcare staff shall be responsible for providing the level of supervision, care, and treatment that is necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of each child at the facility, taking into account the child’s age, individual differences and abilities, surrounding circumstances, hazards, and risks.
(f) The facility shall maintain a daily census report to include the child’s name and building or room assignment.
