(a)

1. (1) The Board of Directors of the White River Regional Solid Waste Management District shall assess the following annual fees for licensing the collection and transportation of solid waste in the White River Regional Solid Waste Management District.

2. (2) Said fees shall be nontransferable and nonrefundable:

   1. (A) Vehicles of one (1) ton or less shall be subject to a twenty-five-dollar annual fee per vehicle; and
   2. (B) Vehicles of over one (1) ton shall be subject to a fifty-dollar annual fee per vehicle.

(c)

1. (1) Licenses must be renewed annually with the license year beginning January 1.
2. (2) If a new hauler is issued a license after January, the fees will be prorated based on the number of full months remaining in the calendar year.

(d)

1. (1) Haulers will have thirty (30) days to obtain a license without penalty.
2. (2) Failure to obtain a license by February 1 will result in doubling the fee.
