- (a) The Southwest Arkansas Regional Solid Waste Management District Board will conduct reviews for new or increased solid waste landfill disposal capacity to be located or proposed to be located in the Southwest Arkansas Regional Solid Waste Management District service area and which are subject to review under the certificate of need program.
(b) Following are the only types of permits that are reviewable under the certificate of need program:
- (1) Permits for new solid waste landfill disposal sites;
- (2) Transfer of existing solid waste landfill disposal permits; and
- (3) Reclassification of existing solid waste landfill disposal permits.
