8 CAR § 64-105 – Market development

(a) The used tire program shall develop market opportunities for recycling and beneficial use of used tires and used tire materials, including tire-derived fuel.
(b) The market sectors for recycling and beneficial use of used tires could include:
1. (1) Ground rubber;
2. (2) Use in civil engineering applications;
3. (3) Tire-derived fuel; and
4. (4) Rubberized asphalt.
