Licensing classifications

Class 1 license — Material recycling facility, solid waste recovery facility, solid waste processing facility, composting facility, transfer station, municipal solid waste incinerator, or municipal solid waste disposal facility

Special provisions allowed for transfer stations
4
Class 2 license — Class 3 or Class 4 landfills
5
Class 3 license — Waste tire processing facility or other related solid waste management facility
