(a)

1. (1) Records shall be kept of all waste/wastewater applied.
2. (2) These records shall be kept in sufficient detail to determine the application rate.

3. (3)

   1. (A) A daily log shall be kept of all land applied waste/wastewater when applying.
   2. (B) The log should include:

(i) Date;

1. (ii) Weight and/or volume;

   1. (iii) Field identification; and

      1. (iv) The acreage over which the waste/wastewater was spread.
   2. (C) All records and logs shall be kept at the facility and provided to the Division of Environmental Quality upon request.

(b)

1. (1) A representative sample of the waste/wastewater to be land applied shall be collected periodically, at a minimum of once each year, and analyzed for the following parameters:

   1. (A) pH;
   2. (B) Total nitrogen;
   3. (C) Potassium;
   4. (D) Total phosphorous;
   5. (E) Soluble phosphorous; and
   6. (F) Percent solids.

2. (2) The division may require more frequent testing deemed necessary to protect waters of the state.

   1. (c)

3. (1) The soils of each field where liquid animal waste has been land applied shall be sampled and analyzed at least once every five (5) years for the following parameters:

   1. (A) pH;
   2. (B) Potassium;
   3. (C) Phosphorous; and
   4. (D) Nitrates.

4. (2) The soils analysis shall be submitted with the updated waste management plan required in 8 CAR § 24-305(c).

   1. (d) Unless specified otherwise, methods and timing of sampling and analysis described in this section shall be in accordance with the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service guidelines.

(e)

1. (1) Annual reports for the previous calendar year shall be submitted to the division prior to May 30 of each year which must include the following:

   1. (A) Waste/wastewater analyses conducted under subsection (b) of this section, locations, volumes, and nitrogen application rates for the previous year;
   2. (B) Methods of application; and
   3. (C) Types of crops grown on each land application site.
2. (2) Reports must be submitted on forms provided by the division.
