Mileage expenses are reimbursed pursuant to the following provisions:

1. (1) Eligible mileage expenses include funding for the mileage of personnel designated by the county board of election commissioners to deliver election materials to poll workers for each polling site and funding for poll workers designated by the county board of election commissioners to return election materials to the county board of election commissioners after the closing of the poll at the same mileage rate prescribed for state employees in state travel rules, Arkansas Code § 7-4-112(b); and
2. (2) A county may pay up to two (2) poll workers per poll to return ballots to the central count location when a poll is closed.
