- (a) An appeal of a polling site closure may only be made for polling site closures in a preferential primary or general election under Arkansas Code § 7-5-101(d)(4).
(b) A vote center is:
- (1) A location selected by the CBEC where votes are cast;
- (2) Within the definition of a polling site under Arkansas Code § 7-1-101(28); and
- (3) Subject to appeal under this part.
- (c) Changes made to early voting locations in a county are not subject to review under this part.
(d)
- (1) Under Arkansas Code § 7-5-101(d)(4), the State Board of Election Commissioners is required to resolve any appeal no less than thirty (30) days prior to an election.
- (2) Therefore, emergency polling site changes are not subject to review by the State Board of Election Commissioners.
