(a) The verification of voter registration card shall remain valid as long as the person resides in the same county in which the verification of voter registration card was issued and remains registered to vote. If the voter moves to a different county, the voter must either:
- (1) Return the verification of voter registration card to the county clerk in which the card was issued upon the submission of a change in registration form; or
- (2) Turn the verification of voter registration card into the county clerk of his or her new residence upon submission of change of registration form.
