As used in this part:

1. (1) “Application” means an application for a verification of voter registration card;
2. (2) “County clerk” means the official elected by the voters of a county to serve as county clerk or a member of his or her staff;

3. (3) “Verification of voter registration” means:

   1. (A) A document or identification card that meets all of the following conditions:

      1. (i) Shows the name of the person to whom the document or identification card was issued;
      2. (ii) Shows a photograph of the person to whom the document or identification card was issued;
      3. (iii) Is issued by the United States, the State of Arkansas, or an accredited postsecondary educational institution in the State of Arkansas; and
      4. (iv) If displaying an expiration date, the document or card is not expired or expired no more than four (4) years before the date of the election in which the person seeks to vote.

   2. (B) Documents or identification cards that comply with the above requirements in subdivision (3)(A) of this section for verification of voter registration may include without limitation the following:

      1. (i) A driver’s license;
      2. (ii) A photo identification card;
      3. (iii) A concealed handgun carry license;
      4. (iv) A United States passport;
      5. (v) An employee badge or identification document issued by an accredited postsecondary educational institution in the State of Arkansas;
      6. (vi) A United States military identification document;
      7. (vii) A public assistance identification card if the card shows a photograph of the person to whom the document or identification card was issued; and
      8. (viii) A verification of voter registration card as provided under Arkansas Code § 7-5-324; and
4. (4) “Verification of voter registration card” means a card issued by a county clerk in Arkansas in compliance with the requirements of Acts 2017, No. 633, and this part.
