(a)
- (1) Meetings shall be regularly scheduled and held, subject to cancellation or rescheduling by majority vote of the members.
- (2) The date, time, and place of each regular meeting shall be furnished to anyone who requests the information.
- (3) Should there fail to be a quorum at a scheduled meeting, then such meeting may be rescheduled by the chair provided all members are given reasonable notice of the date, time, and place of the rescheduled meeting.
- (4) Special meetings of the commission may be called by the chair, provided that the majority of the members of the commission so consent.
- (5) Commissioners may call a meeting by written request to the chair of any three (3) commissioners.
(6) In the event of a special meeting, notification of the date, time, and place of the meeting shall be given at least two (2) hours before the meeting takes place to:
- (A) The news media located in the county in which the meeting is to be held; and
- (B) Those located elsewhere that cover regular meetings of the commission and have requested to be so notified.
- (b) The commission may vary its meeting site to accommodate its needs and accomplish its purposes.
(c)
- (1) The director shall prepare a proposed agenda for each regular meeting, and the proposed agenda shall be distributed to the commission members prior to any such meeting.
- (2) Any commissioner may add items to the agenda by notification to the director twenty-four (24) hours before the scheduled meeting date.
- (3) Any item may be added to the agenda at any time with the unanimous consent of the commission.
