6 CAR § 445-101 – Introduction

(a)
1. (1) The primary purpose of the Arkansas Existing Workforce Training Program is to:
  1. (A) Provide financial assistance in the form of a direct grant or an income tax credit to Arkansas businesses and industries for the delivery of customized, industry-specific training to upgrade the knowledge and skills of the existing workforce or a potential new workforce; and
  2. (B) Increase the capacity of state-supported educational institutions to supply the ongoing training needs of Arkansas companies.

(b) Eligible recipients of program assistance are defined in this part.
