(b)

1. (1) Seventy-five percent (75%) of the faculty for the associate degree programs shall meet the minimum professional standards, bachelor's degree in teaching specialty, for technical personnel.

2. (2)

   1. (A) Combinations of educational and occupational experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree may be considered.
   2. (B) See Exhibit 2.

      *7 years' work experience in teaching and/or related specialty area	= Bachelor's Degree
      Associate Degree+ 3.5 years	= Bachelor's Degree
      2-year Vocational Diploma+ 3.5 years	= Bachelor's Degree
      1-year Vocational Diploma+ 5.25 years	= Bachelor's Degree

      *The Milwaukee Area Technical College System credentialing model has been adopted for the education and occupational equivalency.

(c)

1. (1) Faculty teaching general education courses must have a master's degree with at least eighteen (18) hours in the discipline taught.

2. (2) Faculty qualifications shall include emphasis upon:

   1. (A) Extent, recency, and pertinence of academic preparation;
   2. (B) Extent, recency, and pertinence of business and/or industrial experience; and
   3. (C) Membership and participation in organizations that provide support for and contribute to the body of knowledge in that program area.
