1. (a)

   1. (1) Gross vehicle weight (GVW) is the sum of:

      1. (A) The chassis weight; plus
      2. (B) The body weight; plus
      3. (C) The driver's weight; plus
      4. (D) Total seated pupil weight.
   2. (2) For purposes of calculation, the driver's weight is one hundred fifty pounds (150 lbs.).
   3. (3) For purposes of calculation, the pupil weight is one hundred twenty pounds (120 lbs.) per pupil.
2. (b) Actual gross vehicle weight (GVW) shall not exceed the chassis manufacturer's GVWR for the chassis.

Codification Notes: “GVWR” means gross vehicle weight rating.
