(a) The following items will be reviewed annually to maintain program continuation under federal Perkins V requirements:
- (1) Percentage of concentrators graduating in four-year cohort;
- (2) Percentage of concentrators graduating in five-year cohort;
- (3) Academic skill attainment (ELA, math, and science);
- (4) Number of students concentrating in a program of study;
- (5) Number of students completing a single program of study;
- (6) Percentage of students completing an industry-recognized certification;
- (7) Placement of students in postsecondary education;
- (8) Placements of students in the workforce;
- (9) Nontraditional enrollment;
- (10) Local occupational specific advisory committee;
- (11) Career and technical student organization;
- (12) Critical elements from tiered support activities (formerly called technical assistance or on-site compliance visit); and
- (13) Any conditional item from the previous academic year.
(b)
- (1) As required by Section 134 (d) of Perkins V, CTE coordinators shall facilitate a stakeholder meeting every two (2) years.
- (2) This meeting shall cover all information relevant to develop the comprehensive local needs assessment and local application, and is the primary source for how funds will be directed at the local level.
(c) Required participants include, at a minimum:
(1) Representatives of career and technical education programs in a local educational agency or education service agency, including:
- (A) Teachers;
- (B) Career guidance and academic counselors;
- (C) Principals and other school leaders;
- (D) Administrators; and
- (E) Specialized instructional support personnel and paraprofessionals;
- (2) Representatives of career and technical education programs at postsecondary educational institutions, including faculty and administrators;
- (3) Representatives of the state board or local workforce development boards and a range of local or regional businesses or industries;
- (4) Parents and students;
- (5) Representatives of special populations;
- (6) Representatives of regional or local agencies serving out-of-school youth, homeless children and youth, and at-risk youth as defined in Section 4132 of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965;
- (7) Representatives of Indian tribes and tribal organizations in the state, where applicable; and
- (8) Any other stakeholders that the eligible agency may require the eligible recipient to consult.
