1. (a) A program is systematically developed with long-range goals that are coordinated to guide the development of gifted students from the time they are identified through graduation from high school.

2. (b) A table of organization is developed that clearly delineates:

   1. (1) Roles;
   2. (2) Responsibilities; and
   3. (3) Coordination procedures.

3. (c) Students’ placement in program options is based on:

   1. (1) Their abilities, needs, and interests; and
   2. (2) Resources of the district.

4. (d) Administrative arrangements are used that promote interaction among:

   1. (1) Gifted students; and
   2. (2) Both their intellectual and chronological peers.
5. (e) A minimum of one hundred fifty (150) minutes a week of direct instruction must be provided during the regular school day.
