1. (a) Opportunities for community awareness and involvement are provided.

2. (b) Parents and community members:

   1. (1) Are informed annually of the program opportunities for gifted and talented students; and
   2. (2) Have the opportunity to ask questions and make suggestions.
3. (c) Parents and other community members are included on an advisory committee for gifted education that meets annually.
