(a) A school district that fails to comply with Arkansas Code § 6-41-602 et seq. and this part:

1. (1) Shall be in violation of the Rules Governing the Standards for Accreditation of Arkansas Public Schools and School Districts, 6 CAR pt. 61; and
2. (2) May be placed on probationary status.

(b) A school district placed on probationary status under subsection (a) of this section shall report the reason for being placed on probationary status:

1. (1) On the website of the school district; and
2. (2) By written notification to the parents of each student in the school district.
