- (a) Licensed childcare family homes participating in the ABC Program must meet the same requirements as an ABC Program center, except where listed in this section.
- (b) Group size for an ABC Program classroom in a CCFH shall not exceed sixteen (16) children or maximum licensing capacity, whichever is less.
(c)
(1) The ABC Program family home teacher must:
- (A) Possess a minimum of a CDA credential; and
- (B) File a Staff Qualifications Plan that outlines a plan to complete a four-year degree in early childhood or child development.
- (2) For any ABC Program room with more than ten (10) children, an additional staff person with a minimum of a CDA credential must also be present.
(d)
- (1) No SQP shall be approved for an ABC Program family home teacher to complete a CDA credential or associate degree.
- (2) The only SQP that shall be approved for an ABC Program family home teacher is for a four-year degree in early childhood or child development.
(e)
- (1) In evaluating the ABC Program in a CCFH, the applicable program quality assessment tool for family homes shall be utilized.
- (2) Family homes shall be subject to the same guidelines as listed in 6 CAR § 100-206.
