- (a) PAT programs shall meet program criteria as outlined in the PAT program Implementation and Planning Guide.
- (b) All PAT coordinators must attend the PAT Institute Training and obtain either a Parent Educator Certificate or an Administrator’s Certificate.
- (c) Each program must have a certified Parent Educator, who may also serve as Coordinator.
- (d) PAT parent educators working on a part-time basis (twenty (20) hours per week) should serve thirty (30) and not more than forty (40) children and their families.
(e)
- (1) PAT programs shall operate on a twelve-month, year-round basis.
(2) Families must be offered:
- (A) Twelve (12) personal visits; and
- (B) Six (6) parent group meetings.
- (f) PAT programs shall follow the child eligibility requirements found in 6 CAR § 100-201.
- (g) PAT programs may dually enroll children also participating in a center-based program under the guidelines of 6 CAR § 100-216(f) and (g).
- (h) PAT programs must coordinate services with HIPPY programs where both exist in the same community to avoid duplication of services.
- (i) PAT programs shall meet requirements as set forth in 6 CAR §§ 100-201 – 100-204 and 6 CAR §§ 100-211 – 100-213.
