Staffing patterns/ and, or, or classroom programs
Arkansas Code § 6-11-105; Arkansas Code § 6-45-105
(a)
- (1) Single classroom sites for preschool shall have a teacher qualified under 6 CAR § 100-208(a) and (b).
- (2) Classrooms with over ten (10) children must have a paraprofessional qualified under 6 CAR § 100-208(c).
- (b) For ABC Programs operating infant/ and, or, or toddler classrooms, programs must have one (1) qualified caregiver meeting the requirements of 6 CAR § 100-208(f) for either every four (4) children (infants) or seven (7) children (toddlers).
- (c) In multiclassroom sites, the following staffing patterns shall be adhered to:

(d)
- (1) A classroom that is partitioned in any way may be considered multiple classroom space by the Division of Elementary and Secondary Education.
- (2) Factors to be considered in this decision shall include supervision issues as well as level of staff qualifications in the classroom areas.
