As used in this part:

1. (1) "Elementary model" means the educational model consistent with instructional grouping and scheduling used in kindergarten through grade four (K-4), but may include grades five through six (5-6); and

2. (2)

   1. (A) “Large group instruction” means those courses that accommodate larger numbers of students.

   2. (B) The following courses are considered large group instruction:

      1. (i) Athletics, including when taken for physical education credit, and grades seven through twelve (7-12) physical education;

      2. (ii) Performing arts, including but not limited to:

         1. (a) (a) Band;
         2. (b) (b) Choir; and
      3. (c) (c) Theater;
      4. (iii) Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps;

      5. (iv) Nonacademic activity, including but not limited to: (a) Advisory periods;

         1. (b) (b) Study hall; and
      6. (c) (c) Student activity periods; or
      7. (v) Other courses identified as large group instruction in the Course Code Management System.
