As used in this part:
- (1) "Elementary model" means the educational model consistent with instructional grouping and scheduling used in kindergarten through grade four (K-4), but may include grades five through six (5-6); and
(2)
- (A) “Large group instruction” means those courses that accommodate larger numbers of students.
(B) The following courses are considered large group instruction:
- (i) Athletics, including when taken for physical education credit, and grades seven through twelve (7-12) physical education;
(ii) Performing arts, including but not limited to:
- (a) (a) Band;
- (b) (b) Choir; and
- (c) (c) Theater;
- (iii) Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps;
(iv) Nonacademic activity, including but not limited to: (a) Advisory periods;
- (b) (b) Study hall; and
- (c) (c) Student activity periods; or
- (v) Other courses identified as large group instruction in the Course Code Management System.
