(a) Each public school district shall plan, construct, and maintain school facilities in accordance with:

1. (1) Federal laws;
2. (2) Arkansas law; and
3. (3) Division of Public School Academic Facilities and Transportation rules. (D/C)

(b) Each public school district shall adopt and implement school safety policies and procedures pursuant to:

1. (1) Arkansas law;
2. (2) Division of Elementary and Secondary Education rules; or
3. (3) Division of Public School Academic Facilities and Transportation rules. (D/P)
