(a) A public school district shall be assigned Probation status when it:
- (1) Is deemed to have failed to meet any standard defined with a district probationary status (“D/P”) in the standards for accreditation; or
- (2) Was in Cited status for the same violation the previous two (2) consecutive school years.
(b) A public school shall be assigned Probation status when it:
- (1) Is deemed to have failed to meet any standard defined with a school probationary status (“S/P”) in the standards for accreditation; or
- (2) Was in Cited status for the same violation the previous two (2) consecutive school years.
(c) A public school or school district may be assigned Probation status if the public school or school district:
- (1) Is deemed to have failed to meet three (3) or more standards in any one (1) school year; or
- (2) Fails to meet standards for accreditation for three (3) consecutive school years.
- (d) No public school or public school district shall maintain Probation status for violation of any standard for more than two (2) consecutive school years, including the year the Probation status is assigned.
(e) Any public school or public school district that fails to remedy itself from Probation status after the two (2) consecutive school years will be subject to mandates pursuant to:
- (1) Arkansas Code § 6-15-207; and
- (2) 6 CAR § 61-108.
