1. (a) All financial reports filed by local-option ballot question committees or by public servants or governmental bodies spending public funds shall be verified by affidavit.
2. (b) This affidavit shall state that, to the best of the filer’s knowledge and belief, the information so disclosed is a complete, true, and accurate financial statement of contributions and expenditures.
