27 CAR § 132-1301 – Policy

(a) By state law, wineries must be permitted by the Alcoholic Beverage Control Division and they must offer tours.
(b) For freeway signage, the winery must be within thirty (30) miles of the exit.
(c) In addition, the following criteria must also be met:
1. (1) Adequate parking accommodations;
2. (2) Modern sanitary facilities and drinking water;
3. (3) Must be open a minimum of:
  1. (A) Four (4) hours a day;
  2. (B) Five (5) days a week, one (1) of which is Saturday; and
  3. (C) Six (6) months a year; and
4. (4) Qualification for inclusion in the Wine Country Trail will require the approval of the Department of Parks, Heritage, and Tourism.
(d) All materials and installation costs for this program are to be paid for by the Arkansas Wine Producers Council.
