- (a) The purpose of this part is to describe general Arkansas Department of Transportation processes for efficiently and effectively procuring and administering design and construction services for a transportation facility utilizing the D-B method.
- (b) When implemented for the project, the D-B method would be supported by an approved set of D-B procedures to supplement or replace certain department DB-B procedures on the project.
- (c) The D-B methodology is not intended to totally replace the DB-B methodology but to offer an alternative method of project delivery to the department and is intended to be limited to special projects as determined by the department.
