1. (a) Upon receiving correcting information, the Office of Driver Services may, upon good cause and in its discretion, raise or reduce any security requirement.

2. (b)

   1. (1) If security has already been deposited, then if such security is reduced, the office shall return the excess.
   2. (2) If such security requirement is raised, then the office shall void all previous security requirements and shall issue a new notice of security requirement.
