(a)
- (1) The licensee may cancel the hearing at any time.
- (2) However, the licensee will have forfeited the right to a hearing before suspension unless written application is made for an alternate arrangement for the hearing.
- (b) If the licensee appears at the hearing but his or her counsel fails to appear, then the hearing may be held or rescheduled pursuant to the provisions of this Act.
- (c) If the attorney appears at the hearing, but the licensee fails to appear within a reasonable length of time, then the attorney may present evidence or request the hearing be rescheduled.
(d)
- (1) If for any reason a hearing officer is unable to appear at a scheduled hearing, the hearing shall be rescheduled.
- (2) The licensee shall be notified of the new date.
