(a) The Career Education and Workforce Development Board shall appoint from its membership a liaison officer to the:

1. (1) State Board of Education;
2. (2) Arkansas Higher Education Coordinating Board;
3. (3) Department of Human Services;
4. (4) Division of Workforce Services; and
5. (5) Arkansas Economic Development Commission.

(b) Liaison officers shall:

1. (1) Attend the Career Education and Workforce Development Board/council meetings and/or other appropriate meetings as designated by the Chair of the Career Education and Workforce Development Board; and
2. (2) Represent and articulate the policies of the Career Education and Workforce Development Board to these boards/councils and agencies.
