(a) Chair and vice chair.

1. (1) The Chair of the Career Education and Workforce Development Board and Vice Chair of the Career Education and Workforce Development Board shall be elected by the Career Education and Workforce Development Board from its membership at its last regularly scheduled meeting of the fiscal year.
2. (2) The term of office of the chair and vice chair shall be for two (2) years or until a successor is elected and installed.

3. (3)

   1. (A) The chair and vice chair shall assume their respective positions on July 1 following election.
   2. (B) No person shall hold more than one (1) of these offices concurrently.

(b) Director. The Director of the Division of Career and Technical Education shall:

1. (1) Be appointed by the board;
2. (2) Be confirmed by the Governor; and
3. (3) Serve at the pleasure of the Governor.
