- (a) Generally speaking, individuals who are not pursuing competitive integrated employment are not eligible to receive vocational rehabilitation services.
- (b) However, if they reverse their decision later, they can reapply for Division of State Services for the Blind services.
- (c) The division cannot rely on vocational rehabilitation funding to place or support consumers in subminimum wage jobs.
- (e) Individuals who make an informed choice to pursue employment in a segregated or noncompetitive environment will be referred to other organizations or agencies, such as the Department of Human Services’ programs for people with disabilities and the Centers for Independent Living.
