Division of State Services for the Blind staff can provide this information in several different ways, including:
- (1) Lists of services and service providers;
- (2) Periodic consumer satisfaction surveys and reports;
- (3) Provision of relevant accreditation, certification, or other information about the qualifications of service providers;
- (4) Referrals to other individuals;
- (5) Referrals to local, regional, and state consumer organizations of the blind;
- (6) Referral to local and regional advocacy organizations and disability advisory councils qualified to discuss the services or service provision;
- (7) Opportunities to visit or experience various work and service provider settings; or
- (8) Provision of information about the cost of services and the degree to which services are provided in integrated settings.
