- (a) It is the policy of the Division of State Services for the Blind to provide all services to consumers from within the state whenever possible.
- (b) If the division purchases a service outside of the state that is available within the state, the consumer will be responsible for any difference in the cost of the service.
- (c) If a consumer needs a service that will assist in achieving a successful outcome and the service is not available within the state, the service may be provided from a vendor outside the state and the expense endured fully by the division.
