(a)
- (1) An amendment to the original IPE is made when a change takes place in the rehabilitation program after its original development.
- (2) Should it become necessary to make changes in the IPE, the VR counselor and consumer must both agree and sign the IPE amendment before any changes may go into effect.
(b)
- (1) The original IPE needs to be amended when the VR counselor and consumer agree that a service, aid or appliance, or extension of time, etc., is needed in order to accomplish the independent living goal.
- (2) An amendment reflects a change in the IPE that was not evident as something needed at the time the plan was originally developed.
Codification Notes: “IPE” means individualized plan for elders. "VR" means vocational rehabilitation.
