1. (a) The provisions of this section shall apply only to benefits provided for members of the Arkansas District Judge Retirement System for service rendered between January 1, 2005, and July 1, 2007, and service rendered in the Arkansas Public Employees’ Retirement System thereafter.

2. (b)

   1. (1) Each July 1, the Arkansas District Judge Retirement System shall redetermine the amount of each monthly benefit that has been payable by the Arkansas District Judge Retirement System for at least twelve (12) full calendar months.
   2. (2) The redetermined amount shall be payable for the following twelve (12) calendar months.
3. (c) The redetermined amount shall be the amount of benefit payable as of the immediately preceding July 1 increased by three percent (3%).
