(a)
- (1) An LEC may not suspend service to a trustee or debtor in bankruptcy for failure to pay a bill incurred prior to a bankruptcy filing if the trustee or the debtor pays a deposit under 23 CAR § 466-402(a)(7) within twenty (20) days of the order for relief in bankruptcy.
- (2) See 11 U.S.C. § 366 of the United States Bankruptcy Code.
(b)
- (1) The LEC may not suspend service during that twenty-day period.
- (2) If a debtor asks the LEC to reconnect service during that twenty-day period, the LEC must reconnect.
- (3) After the twenty-day period, the LEC may suspend service if the customer has not paid a deposit.
