1. (a)

   1. (1) A certificate of calibration indicating the volumes or weighting devices used to calibrate the meter testing equipment shall be maintained for each piece of testing equipment.
   2. (2) The record shall indicate the standard to which the testing equipment has been referenced.

2. (b) Each water utility shall use standards certified by:

   1. (1) The National Institute of Standards and Technology; or
   2. (2) Other nationally recognized laboratory or standards.
3. (c) Each piece of meter testing equipment shall be recalibrated at least once every twelve (12) months.
4. (d) Meter testing equipment shall be located in a work area that is easily accessible and equipped with the necessary facilities and accessories.
