(a) Each water utility providing water for human consumption or household purposes shall provide this water in accordance with the:
- (1) National Primary Drinking Water Regulations; and
- (2) National Secondary Drinking Water Regulations.
- (b) At the request of the Arkansas Public Service Commission, each water utility shall perform reasonable tests to determine the purity of water furnished by the utility.
(c)
- (1) Each water utility shall ensure that the water supply complies with the standards contained in this part when tests made by the Department of Health, the utility, or others authorized by the Department of Health, the utility, or the Arkansas Public Service Commission indicate the water is impure.
- (2) Tests shall be conducted using methods and procedures recommended by the American Public Health Association.
