- (a) Each gas utility shall establish a normal gauge pressure at which gas will be supplied through the meter to a customer's piping.
(b)
- (1) The normal gauge pressure must be no higher than the maximum allowed to safely operate equipment that uses gas.
- (2) The normal gauge pressure plus the assumed atmospheric pressure should total the established absolute pressure base as closely as practicable.
- (c) Pressure higher than the established normal gauge pressure may be supplied to an individual at the request of the customer.
- (d) The normal gauge pressure at which gas will be supplied through the meter to a customer's piping shall be filed as a tariff according to the Arkansas Public Service Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure, 23 CAR pt. 462.
