(a)
- (1) Electric utility outside plant facilities and equipment shall be marked or numbered in accordance with the current issues of the NESC to identify the owner and the location, e.g., sections 217A3, 220D, and 220E in the 1993 NESC.
- (2) The date the facilities or equipment were first placed into service shall be recorded on appropriate records.
- (b) When two (2) or more utilities jointly own a structure, each utility shall have a distinguishing mark on the structure.
(c)
- (1) On a continuous distribution or transmission line, marks and numbers shall be affixed to structures at regular intervals.
- (2) Marks and numbers are not required to be affixed more frequently than to every tenth structure.
