Access to premises and production of records
Arkansas Constitution, Amendment 100, sec. 4
- (a) No applicant, licensee, or enrolled person shall neglect or refuse to produce records or evidence or to give information upon proper and lawful demand by the Arkansas Racing Commission, or shall otherwise interfere, or attempt to interfere, with any proper and lawful efforts by the commission to produce such information.
(b)
- (1) Each casino licensee, licensed manufacturer, and licensed distributor or seller shall immediately make available for inspection by the commission all papers, books, and records produced by any gaming business and all portions of the premises where gaming is conducted or where gambling devices or equipment are manufactured, sold, or distributed.
- (2) The commission shall be given immediate access to any portion of the premises of any casino licensee, licensed manufacturer, or licensed distributor or seller for the purpose of inspecting or examining any records or documents required to be kept by such licensee under the rules of the commission, and any gaming device or equipment or the conduct of any gaming activity.
- (c) Access to the areas and records may be inspected or examined by the commission shall be granted upon request by the commission to any commission member or agent who the commission designates.
