- (a) The CSS must implement self-monitoring of all critical interface elements (e.g. central hosts, network devices, firewalls, links to their parties, etc.) and shall have the ability to effectively notify the system administrator of the condition, provided the condition is not catastrophic.
- (b) The CSS shall be able to perform this operation with a frequency of at least once in every twenty-four-hour period.
- (c) The implementation of self-monitoring schemes will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by the Arkansas Racing Commission and the test laboratory.
- (d) Additionally, all critical interface elements will be reviewed on a case-per-case basis and may require further action by the system depending upon the severity of the failure.
