(a)
- (1) All electronic equipment used for EGS gaming must be scientifically tested and certified in accordance with this part by an approved independent testing laboratory which is demonstrably competent and qualified.
- (2) All equipment sent to the test laboratory for the purpose of testing and certifying the EGS gaming equipment must be in accordance with the test laboratory’s submission requirements.
(b)
- (1) All control chips, EPROMS, flash drives, CD-ROM, etc. containing game control information will be shipped directly by the manufacturing to the EGS Section for testing and verification prior to them being installed at the gaming facility.
- (2) Chips, EPROMS, flash drives, CD-ROM, etc. are to be received no less than five (5) days before the gaming device is received at the gaming facility.
- (c) All gaming devices will be shipped to the gaming facility in an inoperable fashion and will not include game control chips, EPROMS, flash drives, CD- ROM, etc.
Codification Notes: “EPROM” means erasable programmable read-only memory. "CD-ROM" means compact disk read-only memory.
