23 CAR § 93-205 – Use of sales materials

(a) An insurer authorized to transact variable life insurance business in this state shall not use any sales material, advertising material, descriptive literature, or other material of any kind in connection with its variable life insurance business in this state that is:
1. (1) False;
2. (2) Misleading;
3. (3) Deceptive; or
4. (4) Inaccurate.
(b) Variable life insurance sales material, advertising material, and descriptive literature shall be subject to the additional requirements of Life Insurance Disclosure, 23 CAR pt. 85.
