23 CAR § 93-103 – Supersession of conflicting rules

(a) This part shall supersede and fully replace any prior rule concerning variable life insurance.
(b)
1. (1) This part is particularly intended to replace any provisions of Variable Annuity Contracts, 23 CAR pt. 81, as it may pertain to variable life insurance.
2. (2) The provisions of 23 CAR pt. 81 that regulate variable annuities shall remain undisturbed by this part.
