An insurer or its officers, directors, producers, or employees that violate any of the provisions of this part or knowingly participate in or abet such violation shall be subject to:
(1) A fine up to one thousand dollars ($1,000) for each violation; and
(2) Suspension or revocation of its certificate of authority or license.
