As used in this part:

1. (1) “Automatic occupational licensure” means the granting of a license without the individual’s having met occupational licensure requirements provided under the Arkansas Insurance Code or by State Insurance Department rule;

2. (2) “Licensure” means the issuance of any of the following licenses:

   1. (A) Certified application counselor;
   2. (B) Claims adjuster;
   3. (C) Emergency temporary producer;
   4. (D) In-person assistant guide;
   5. (E) Insurance consultant;
   6. (F) Insurance producer;
   7. (G) Life settlement broker;
   8. (H) Managing general agent;
   9. (I) Navigator;
   10. (J) Purchasing group broker;
   11. (K) Reinsurance intermediaries broker;
   12. (L) Reinsurance intermediaries manager;
   13. (M) Risk retention agent; and
   14. (N) Surplus lines broker;
3. (3) “Returning military veteran” means a former member of the United States Armed Forces who was discharged from active duty under circumstances other than dishonorable;

4. (4) “Uniformed service member” means:

   1. (A) An active or reserve component member of the:

      1. (i) United States Air Force;
      2. (ii) United States Army;
      3. (iii) United States Coast Guard;
      4. (iv) United States Marine Corps;
      5. (v) United States Navy;
      6. (vi) United States Space Force; or
      7. (vii) National Guard;
   2. (B) An active component member of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Commissioned Officer Corps; or
   3. (C) An active or reserve component member of the United States Commissioned Corps of the Public Health Service; and
5. (5) “Uniformed service veteran” means a former member of the United States uniformed services discharged under conditions other than dishonorable.
