- (a) This part applies to all proposed transactions pursued under the Arkansas Insurance Business Transfer Act, Arkansas Code § 23-69-501 et seq., in which a transfer is sought of some or all insurance obligations, risks, or both, of existing or in-force contracts for insurance or reinsurance by a transferring insurer to one (1) or more assuming insurers.
- (b) Application of this part does not limit or restrict other valid means of effecting a transfer or novation.
