- (a) Each state agency is responsible for complying with this part to ensure the proper design, construction, and operation of new major facilities and major renovations, as well as to implement energy management plans and guidelines.
(b)
- (1) The appointment and training of an energy manager is necessary to ensure a central point of contact with regard to compliance with this part.
- (2) The level of training for the agency energy manager needs to be consistent with the complexity of the agency facilities.
- (c) State agencies will be required to submit annual reports to the Arkansas Energy Office as required by this part in order to monitor agency efforts to reduce utility consumption and allow the agency to be recognized for their efforts and achievements.
- (d) Each agency is responsible for the monthly updating of their ESPM accounts in order to provide an accurate record of energy efficiency efforts and progress, and is consistent with the agencies’ requirements under the Governor’s Executive Order #09-07 issued May 28th, 2009 (see Appendix E).
